• Tamrac's Expedition 5 Photo Backpack is the ideal size for Wilderness and Nature photography. It is also a great way to travel anywhere with a full complement of camera gear by spreading the weight of your equipment across your back and shoulders. Construction is of Tamrac's 900D Polytek with two waterproof coatings. The pack is fully padded with thick closed-cell foam for equipment protection. The bottom is foam-padded with a plastic insert for shock protection. All hardware is military spec. The divider system is foam-padded and adjustable and cradles the camera and long lens on foam pillars that keep everything in place with lens cinch strap. The zippers for the main compartment and outside pocket are protected from the elements by rain flaps. A compression strap with quick release buckle provides support for the entry panel. Inside there are Windowpane-Mesh pockets that organize filters and accessories. The comfortable foam-padded backpack harness is adjustable and held secure with an adjustable quick-release sternum strap. D-rings provide attachment points for Tamrac's N-11 quick release Camera strap (an optional accessory). The Expedition 5 features Tamrac's exclusive Modular Accessory System (M.A.S.) attachment slots. These allow the full complement of pockets, lens cases, water bottles and other Modular Accessories to be attached and the pack customized and personalized. D-rings provide attachment points for an optional shoulder strap and a leather-padded handle help this pack perform like a camera bag when not on your back. The QuickClip Tripod Attachment System allows you to carry a tripod securely. This is a light-weight yet full-featured photo backpack that can be customized with the Modular Accessory System to meet the needs of photography in all situations.
